What is the Day list?

Description of the Day List default landing view.

The ‘Day list’ is your clinic’s inbox. This will be the default screen that loads when you first log into Digital Practice.

You can get there using the left-hand navigation, too.

Each row is a ‘Conversation’ - started by your clinic or a client. Each conversation is on a specific channel (WhatsApp, SMS, Facebook).

A red label ‘Unread (#)’ shows the number of separate client messages that have been sent since the last human reply from the clinic (we don't count automated messages). A large number here is a warning sign that attention is needed...

There are three automated categories to help you manage your Day List. Each category is ranked by the most recent client reply.

New conversations

  • Any incoming client messages whether new or if they have replied to a reminder or broadcast unless they fall into one of the categories below

My owned/assigned

  • If you or someone else in the clinic manually sets you as the owner or assignee

  • When you create a new conversation, you will automatically become the owner

Everything else

  • All conversations that are not yet owned or assigned

You can temporarily hide a category by clicking on the up/down arrows.

Conversation preview

Make working with your Day list even quicker by using the preview button.

From here you can reply and resolve, or open the full conversation page. Select the next conversation by clicking the row on the left. Close the preview using the button shown with the four horizontal lines.

Display client address

Digital Practice can also display a client’s primary PMS address directly within the Conversation, Day List and All Conversations screens. This is particularly useful for farm and equine practices where the address may help identify a farm, yard or client location.

The feature is not enabled by default. When enabled, Digital Practice uses the client’s primary address held within your PMS.

If you would like this feature enabled for your practice, or would like more information, please contact support@digitalpractice.vet
