Can I set up Single Sign On (SSO) to log in to Digital Practice?

Single sign on (SSO) using Microsoft Entra

Digital Practice can offer the ability for clinics to use Single Sign-On (SSO) to authenticate user logins to Digital Practice. We support Microsoft Entra and Okta.

The Digital Practice login user journey will be as follows:

  • The user visits the Digital Practice login page

  • A username/email address field is displayed on screen

  • The user enters their username/email address.

  • Only an email address entered can be used for SSO.

  • When an email address is entered, the system checks if the email domain entered is set up to have Microsoft Entra SSO.

    • If the email domain is not set up for Microsoft Entra SSO, a password field is displayed. The user can enter their existing password and log in.

    • If the email domain is set up for Microsoft Entra SSO, the user will be taken to a Microsoft login page (if they don't have an active session) OR straight back into DP (if they do have an active session)

To find out more information on how SSO can work for your business, or to request that this be set up.

Please contact support@digitalpractice.vet or your account manager for more information.
