Vaccination reminders are designed to encourage clients to keep their pets’ regular vaccinations up to date. Reducing ill health in pets where regular preventatives have not been maintained.
Vaccination reminders can be turned on for your clinic. Please contact support@digitalpractice.vet, who can action this for you.
Vaccination reminders:
Are sent to clients based on the last invoiced date for specified vaccine product(s) or service/procedure.
The clinic can specify how many days/weeks/months before and/or after the vaccine is due (based on the last item invoice date) they wish these to be sent.
Are sent to clients based on the administration frequency/interval that the product is due, e.g. annual 12-month vaccine.
Are sent only if a vaccination appointment is not already booked in the future. The clinic can specify which appointment types to reference.
Are sent only if the original product has not been invoiced again since, for the patient
Group and merge multiple pets by product due on the same day into a single reminder. e.g. 2 patients due the same product → client gets 1 reminder.

Hi {{Client}}, it's been {{Duration}} since we've seen {{Pet}}, and it's time for their {{Product name}} vaccination again.
It's vitally important for {{Pet}} to keep up with their treatments.

Customisation
To set up vaccination reminders, the following information is required to customise this reminder for your clinic:
The product SKU’s or service/procedure codes from the PMS which should trigger a reminder message.
Product interval (How often each product should be administered and therefore reminded)
The number of days before or after the vaccination is due in which to send the reminder.
The appointment types to check if an appointment is already booked in the future.
Optionally:
The reminder message text can be customised if required.
Can have quick reply buttons such as:
A ‘Book’ quick reply button for the clinic to follow up and place an order for the client.
Can have a URL button link such as:
‘Book’ links to the URL of the clinic's online booking tool.
‘Healthcare plan signup’ links to a clinic website URL for HCP signup.
Note: A clinic can have multiple different Vaccination reminder message templates created and therefore can have any number of messages triggered at different intervals or for different invoiced items.
